"I view things differently and share that vision with others through my art." Marilyn has been using different mediums to create since she was a little girl. Whether it is with a camera, brush, polymer clay, or scissors, paper, and glue, she is always creating with something. Nothing created is ever a mistake! Although going on trips to photograph new and exciting things is fun, you don’t have to travel beyond your own back yard to shoot some wonderful photos. You will find things you didn’t know were there, like the beautiful yellow lily with the glow of the early morning light, the butterflies surrounding the bush in your backyard, the dew on the neighbor’s rose blossom, or the waterfall of flowers of the spiarea bush. Just stop, take a moment, and observe. Marilyn has been juried in to several art shows in the Kansas City area including:

Barbara Tull, WatercolorBarbara has studied oil, acrylic, and watercolor painting with several teachers holding outstanding credentials. She has attended workshops She has exhibited her paintings in many venues throughout the Kansas City area, as well as Witchita, KS; Columbia, MO; and the greater Phoenix, AZ area. She has sold her work throughout the United States. She holds memberships in the following organizations: Greater Kansas City Art Association; Images Art Gallery, Overland Park, KS; Kansas Watercolor Society; Missouri Watercolor Society; Arizona Art Association; and the Oakwood Art League in Sun Lakes, AZ. She is also a member of the National League of American Pen Women and the Channel 14 News Staff in Sun Lakes, AZ. |
